The NBA has released the last two-minute report from the Golden State Warriors-Minnesota Timberwolves matchup on Friday. According to NBC Sports, the NBA deemed that the controversial calls during the last 3o seconds of overtime were correctly made.

The Warriors were up in arms after the game, claiming that the officials made several bad calls that prevented them from at least taking the game into double overtime. The most questionable calls of the contest occurred in the last five seconds of OT.

The first one came when Timberwolves rookie Keita Bates-Diop fouled Warriors forward Kevin Durant on a 3-point attempt, with Golden State trailing by three points. Durant made the basket and appeared to have tied the contest with a chance to win it at the free throw line.

However, the officials ruled that the foul came before the two-time Finals MVP got the shot off. The Last Two Minute report confirmed that Bates-Diop made contact “prior to the start of his upward shooting motion.”

Stephen Curry, who made a 3-pointer to cut the deficit down to three 20 seconds earlier, then nailed a left-corner 3-pointer to even things up at 130 with 0.5 seconds remaining.

With a last-pitch chance to win the game in OT, the Timberwolves set up a lob for Karl-Anthony Towns. The inbound pass towards the rim sailed out of bounds. However, officials called a foul on Durant for apparently holding down Minnesota's All-Star center. Towns made one of his two freebies to seal the win over the two-time defending champions.

Likewise, as with the first questionable call on Durant, the NBA claimed that the officials made the correct judgment on the play. The last-two minute report said that “Durant wrapped Towns around the waist,” which prevented him from getting to the ball.
