The Golden State Warriors are eager to welcome back Klay Thompson after two seasons of inactivity.

Thompson last saw action in Golden State's NBA Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors in 2019. The plan is for him to make his long-awaited comeback on Christmas Day against Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns.

When he's not on a boat or chilling with his dog, Klay has been gifting social media with videos of him shooting the lights out in drills. To no one's surprise, the 2016 3-point champion looks as sharp as ever. He even had Kevin Durant reacting to his latest shooting masterpiece:

The All-Star guard is as consistent as they come from long distance. He has never had a season with a 3-point clip below 40%, leading to a career 3-point percentage of 42%.

Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant shared some massive success together with the Dubs, winning back-to-back championships in KD's three-year stint with Golden State. Both of them suffered injuries in the Finals series against Toronto, which dented the Warriors' three-peat dreams at that time.

The next time they face each other will be during the Nets and Warriors' season-series finale on Jan. 29 at Barclays Center. Thompson is, by far, the Warriors' best perimeter defender, so he'll be tasked to guard familiar foes-turned-KD teammates in Kyrie Irving and James Harden.

To recall, Thompson and Irving battled in three NBA Finals series, albeit the 2015 edition being cut short by the latter's injury in the opening game. Meanwhile, Harden had his own encounters with the Warriors in the Western Conference playoffs.
