NFL legend Jerry Rice has some advice for Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry.

Curry is expected to miss a big chunk of games after breaking his left hand on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns.

Rice says Curry, the leader of the Warriors, has to show his face to the players in Golden State during his recovery period:

“I think it's very important when you have an injury you still show your face and you let the players know that, ‘Hey look, I support you guys 100 percent and as soon as I can get back, I'm gonna be on that court.'

“I remember when I tore my ACL, MCL and I came back in like — I tore it in Week 1 and I came back in Week 16, and the only thing about that is I came back and I cracked my patella,” Rice said, via NBC Sports Bay Area. “So it's very important for him [Curry] to be healthy when he comes back, to show his face and just let his teammates know that he's still a part of it is going to be the most important thing.”

The Warriors’ 2019-20 season couldn’t have started any worse. The Dubs are 1-3, and now Curry — the team’s best player — is out for the foreseeable future.

Curry signed a five-year, $201 million deal with the Warriors back in the summer of 2017. He’s making $40,231,758 this season.
