New Golden State Warriors addition Nick Young has managed to capture the hearts of fans in China, especially a particular one who wore a customized shirt with his old No. 0 before his actual No. 6 had been made official.
“I dream of Nick Young,” Wang, a 16-year-old point guard from Guangzhou with “Swaggy P” emblazoned across his back, told Connor LeTourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle two hours prior to the Warriors’ 111-97 preseason loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. “I love that he’s a gunner. He’s unstoppable. He just keeps shooting.”

The Warriors shooting guard clearly approved of the gesture.

In a sea of Stephen Curry fans and No. 30 jerseys of every kind among those in attendance, Wang proudly displayed his idol's number on his back after taking a two-hour train ride to the arena after a family friend surprised him with tickets to the game.
“I’m so excited,” said Wang, who became fluent in English at his international school in Guangzhou. “I couldn’t sleep last night.”
Young scored seven points in the loss and shot 3-of-8 from the field before taking a hard spill and gingerly walking to the locker room as his night came to an end.
