Over the last few years in the NBA offseason, veteran guard Nick Young has made it a tradition to participate in the Drew League.
It has become a platform where Young has grown accustomed to showcasing his scoring ability against amateurs and other NBA stars playing in the annual tournament. In a recent Drew League game over the weekend, the 32-year-old put an opposing player on notice after he was scored on.

This was just a snippet of his scoring skill set that has helped earn the reputation as a gifted scoring aside from all the noise around him. It has been the basis of what has allowed for him to put together a 10-year NBA career. He has shown to be the ability to be a reliable scoring option when given the opportunity to play in a consistent role.
Granted, he was going up against many amateurs that don’t exactly possess the ability of an NBA players, which allowed for him to score with more ease. Nonetheless, it was an impressive move by Young that should create some excitement for the Golden State Warriors about what he brings to the table this upcoming season.
The Warriors inked Young to a one-year, $5.2 million deal in free agency last month after the veteran spent four seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.
