Golden State Warriors guard Nick Young turned a lot of heads once again on Saturday with his choice of outfit. It was hard not to notice, to say the least, as he was wearing a very colorful shirt with his chest exposed.
He received a lot of hilarious comments on social media, and also some roasting from his teammate, Stephen Curry when the latter was asked to give his thoughts about his fashion statement.
The 31-year-old USC product was asked to share what inspired him to wear the eccentric articles of clothing he chose on the night. Young hilariously said that he dreamt of John Travolta, who told him what to wear. His comments cracked up the members of the media during the postgame press conference, which can be seen in the video from Melissa Rohlin of the Bay Area News Group.

For what it’s worth, the outfit may have worked wonders for Young’s confidence, as he had a very strong game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. He finished with an impressive stat line of 16 points, on 5-of-10 shooting, to go along with five rebounds and two assists, in what turned out to be one of his best games as a player of the Dubs.
His teammates and fans may find his fashion sense a bit over the top, but it will also be difficult for them to question it, especially if he carries the momentum in their coming games. If he plays at a high level moving forward, they could get used to seeing him wear more colorful and loud shirts.
