The rift between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green appears to be much more than just a heat-of-the moment argument. So much so, that an anonymous Golden State Warriors player has gone out to say that he will stop at nothing to ensure that these two are able to make up sooner rather than later.

According to ESPN's Marc J. Spears, this isn't just any player on the roster, but an important figure in the team. While Spears did not name his peace-making source, there are only a number of “prominent” Warriors players outside of Durant and Green.

Former back-to-back MVP winner Stephen Curry is the first person that comes to mind. Curry remains to be the centerpiece of the franchise, and given how the 30-year-old conducts himself, it would be safe to say that it would be in his nature to be a peace-seeking mediator.

Andre Iguodala could also be our mystery man, as he has proven time and again that in his mind, the good of the team comes above everything else. The reputable veteran would be a good voice of reason, and would likely have the ear of both Durant and Green.

Warriors guard Klay Thompson is another prominent personality in the team, but given his carefree personality, we're not betting on the 3-point specialist. DeMarcus Cousins may also be in the mix, but perhaps his influence on the team is not yet on this particular level.

Regardless of who this unnamed Warriors player is, what's important is that wounds are mended at the soonest. This way, the Dubs can get rid of all the noise and focus on their mission of getting that highly-coveted three-peat.
