Quinn Cook says DeMarcus Cousins “put his body on the line” for the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

Cousins tore his left quad in the Warriors' first round matchup versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Boogie returned for the Finals, and while he wasn't his usual effective self, players on the Dubs respected the All-Star big man for coming back so quickly.

Both Quinn Cook and DeMarcus Cousins are on the Los Angeles Lakers now. Cousins said on Wednesday he's 100 percent and feeling good.

The Warriors lost to the Raptors in six games in the Finals. Kevin Durant tore his right Achilles tendon in Game 5 and Klay Thompson tore his left ACL in Game 6. Cousins averaged just 8.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in the Finals while shooting 42.5 percent from the floor. It was clear the four-time All-Star wasn't even close to 100 percent, which is why guys on the Warriors had so much respect for Boogie.

One thing Cousins was able to accomplish in his one season with the Dubs was clean up his reputation. Every player on the Warriors loved Boogie, putting an end to the narrative that Cousins is a locker room cancer.

With the Lakers, Cousins will reunite with Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo. Cook, meanwhile, will reunite with JaVale McGee.
