Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry is just two 3-pointers away from breaking the record for the most made triples of all time in NBA history, a record held by the great Ray Allen. With Curry poised to break the record against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Allen posted a Facebook message.

That's a really cool Facebook post by Ray Allen on Stephen Curry and how special the night could be. Oh, and Allen jokingly added in the part about Spike Lee saving him a seat, though the former Seattle Supersonic, Boston Celtic, and Miami Heat star will reportedly be in attendance at Madison Square Garden for the Warriors-Knicks contest.

So, Reggie Miller was there when Ray Allen broke his 3-point record, and Ray Allen will be there when Stephen Curry, in all likelihood, breaks Allen's 3-point record. It's like a Jedi-Padawan thing except with 3-point shooting. Miller will also be there calling the game for TNT.

There will definitely be a cool moment between Curry and Allen if the Warriors star breaks the record against the Knicks.

As far as the Warriors' matchup against the Knicks goes, it's not so much as an if Curry breaks Allen's record as much as it's a when, as New York has surrendered the seventh-most 3-pointers per game in the NBA this season.

Stephen Curry might not only break Ray Allen's 3-point record, but he might also put on a show for Warriors and Knicks fans.
