Golden State Warriors guard Shaun Livingston, during Sunday's game against the Miami Heat, became the latest player in the last string of games to get tossed.

Livingston was ejected from the contest after arguing a non-call on a contested shot over Tyler Johnson and had bumped heads with referee Courtney Kirkland. Following the game, Kirkland provided an explanation for the 32-year-old being thrown out that came down to one simple factor.

It was the first ejection of Shaun Livingston's 12-year NBA career that has seen him only receive 12 technical fouls over that span. The Warriors veteran hasn't had a history of being a player that loses his cool as he had yet to receive more than two technical fouls in any campaign. He hasn't even received one since the 2015-16 season.

There hadn't been any previous incidents where Shaun Livingston had let a non-call go that far to him arguing with a referee. It's quite out of the norm for him to be thrown out as like teammate Stephen Curry, who was tossed for the first time in the regular season in his career as well this season.

This will likely result in the NBA announcing on Monday morning a fine for Livingston due to his actions.
