NBA Hall of Famer Reggie Miller “can't see” Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant going to New York this summer and signing with the New York Knicks.

Durant can become an unrestricted free agent this summer if he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Warriors and there have been a bevy of rumors lately claiming that KD is going to sign with the Knicks.

Reggie Miller, however, doesn't see that happening since Durant recently bashed the media for spreading rumors without talking to him.

“Personally, I can’t see him going to New York,” Miller said, via Logan Murdock of the Mercury News. “If he’s a little surly and upset about what The Athletic wrote about him, if he gets a couple of bad games in New York, under that microscope, he’s really going to be upset.

“So, you got to factor everything when you’re joining the New York Knicks – the number one media market in the world and in our game. You can’t be upset with the media when you’re back to back NBA champion and back to back Finals MVPs.”

Kevin Durant went off on a reporter for The Athletic last week saying KD was going to sign with the Knicks in the summer.

Durant's upcoming free agency is going to be a frequent topic all season.
