Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson said he would only take shooting advice from Steve Kerr, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller and Larry Bird. Now, he got one of them responding.

Reggie Miller saw Klay Thompson’s remarks about how he’ll only listen to him and the three other shooting legends when it comes to addressing his problem. The former Indiana Pacer sharpshooter then quickly answered and gave his advice to the Warriors All-Star.

“SHOOTERS SHOOT!! Even I wouldn’t say anything to this man, he’s one of the best shooters to ever live, ZERO concern from my end,” Miller wrote in a tweet.

Thompson already said that he believes he is not in a shooting slump, and Miller’s remarks only support that claim. Indeed, shooters got to shoot.

Miller is one of the greatest Pacers of all time, and he’s also widely considered as one of the best outside shooters to ever play the game. He has a career average of 18.2 points per game, shooting 47.1 percent overall and 39.5 percent from deep.

The former NBA player turned analyst is right when he said that there’s really nothing he could say to Thompson other than to continue shooting. The 28-year-old All-Star is shooting the lowest 3-point percentage of his career at 33.7, but this is not the first time he has struggled this season.

Thompson shot below 20 percent from 3-point territory in the first seven games of the campaign, but in his eighth appearance, he exploded for 52 points behind a record-breaking 14 trey. Surely, he can bounce back from this latest struggle.
