Washington Wizards head coach Scott Brooks believes if Golden State Warriors superstar small forward Kevin Durant can stay healthy, he can break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time scoring record.
Abdul-Jabbar scored a whopping 38,387 points during his legendary NBA career. Entering Thursday, Kevin Durant has scored 22,227 points. He is No. 31 on the all-time scoring list.
Coach Scott Brooks on his former player Kevin Durant on possibly reaching the all-time NBA scoring mark: "If he stays healthy, he'll probably have the record."

Scott Brooks coached Kevin Durant with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He knows Durant better than most people do. KD is a four-time scoring champion and has career averages of 27.2 points per game entering Thursday.
Durant is one of the most lethal scorers in NBA history. He's 6-foot-9, but has the skills of a point guard. KD can get his shot anytime he wants and defenders just have to pray he misses when they are guarding him.
The most points Durant has averaged in a season is 32.0. That was back in the 2013-14 season when he won the MVP award with the Thunder.
Kevin Durant is 30-years-old. He's averaged at least 20.0 points per game every single year of his NBA career. If KD plays long enough, he very well could pass Abdul-Jabbar, but we don't know when the superstar is going to retire.
Durant said last summer he could see himself walking away from the game at 35.
