If you're still wondering who's going to be the MVP for the 2020-2021 NBA season, then let Seattle Seahawks star QB Russell Wilson help you out. According to the former Super Bowl champ, his MVP is none other than Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

The 32-year-old NFL star weighed in the tight MVP race as he put out a rather straightforward tweet to tip his hat to the two-time MVP.

Prior to this month, the MVP race has been a two-man race with Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets on top while Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid closing in on him. Embiid was sidelined for a few weeks which had everyone in the league stating that Jokic's first MVP trophy was already all but guaranteed.

Unfortunately for them both, the Warriors superstar went berserk this month and catapulted himself all the way to the top of the MVP race. Curry, who was in the middle of the pack of the MVP conversation prior to this month, took a huge leap upwards after putting up historic numbers in these past few weeks.

After an incredible 11-game stretch, Curry did cool down a bit on Wednesday with an 18-point performance against the Washington Wizards. The seven-time All-Star finally fell back to earth and shot just 7-of-25 from the field including 2-of-14 from deep. To make matters worse, the Warriors dropped a crucial one and lost to the Wizards 118-114.

Though his scoring streak is over, Curry has done enough to put himself in the MVP conversation, winning the hearts of everyone, including Wilson.
