The Golden State Warriors host the New York Knicks on Tuesday evening at Oracle Arena and the team will be without the services of backup point guard Shaun Livingston.
Shaun Livingston is dealing with soreness in his left knee, effectively ruling him out of the game.

In 30 games this season for the Warriors, Livingston is averaging 4.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. The 33-year-old is shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the free-throw line.
Golden State enters Tuesday with a record of 26-14, good for second place in the Western Conference standings. The team is coming off a 127-123 win against the Sacramento Kings this past Saturday on the road. Livingston only played three minutes in that game before his knee started to bother him.
It's safe to assume the Warriors will be able to defeat the Knicks without Livingston at home. Veteran small forward Andre Iguodala and combo guard Quinn Cook is expected to get more playing time in this game.
Golden State head coach Steve Kerr told local reporters on Monday that Livingston was injury-free. Maybe the team is just being cautious with the 6-foot-7 guard since it's a long season and they need him in the playoffs more than the regular season.
Livingston is in his fifth season with the Warriors.
