The Golden State Warriors will not have backup guard Shaun Livingston for their upcoming game against the Brooklyn Nets due to a foot injury, and the veteran will likely also miss Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls.

Shaun Livingston, despite not having great shooting range, is a very important part of the Warriors' rotation. He is the backup guard for Stephen Curry and provides another dimension to their offense because he can use his size to attack mismatches in the post. They can even have him play alongside Curry, which allows the two-time MVP to focus on his scoring rather that facilitating the offense. Defensively, Livingston's long and lanky built is a great fit for the Warriors' switching defense and allows him to defend multiple positions.

Without Livingston, the Warriors will have Quinn Cook as their primary backup for Curry. Cook, as he proved last season, is very capable of stepping in and providing quality minutes if needed. When Curry was out last year, Cook even played starter minutes for them and held his own against the top guards in the league.

Even with some players missing, the Warriors will still be huge favorites to win against the 2-3 Nets. Curry is playing like his old MVP self again, averaging 33.7 points to go with 4.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. His highlight game of the season came against the Washington Wizards when he 51 points in three quarters.

In their next game, Kevin Durant was the one doing the scoring against the New York Knicks. Durant finished with 41 points, 25 of which came in a huge fourth-quarter run.

It's safe to say the Warriors have more than enough weapons to pull off the win against the Nets, and the same should be said about Monday's game in Chicago.
