Stephen Curry wasn't pleased with Kyrie Irving's words, following the Golden State Warriors' 115-111 win over the Boston Celtics on Saturday.

The Celtics star guard said the Warriors “had poise but they also got pretty lucky, too.”

Curry didn't concur (h/t Chelsea Howard of Sporting News).

After going scoreless in the first quarter, the two-time MVP helped break Golden State's lead wide open once he eventually caught fire in the second, sinking five 3-pointers in five minutes.

“He said we got lucky? Pretty lucky? I don't know what that means,” Curry responded. “In terms of just forcing them into tough shots, I mean, they could have made them.
“Those turnovers really could have hurt us, but over the course of 48 (minutes) we gave ourselves a good opportunity to win the game.”

Though 21 lead changes occurred in the process, Curry finished with 24 points in the team's 10th straight victory, on 7-of-15 shooting from the field.

“Two great teams going at it,” Curry told ESPN. “We bring the best out of each other.”

Boston's five-game winning streak was snapped in the loss, however, and Irving putting in work offensively, going for 32 points and 10 assists wasn't enough for the Celtics to overcome.
