The Golden State Warriors are coming off their worst offensive performance since acquiring superstar Kevin Durant prior to the 2016-17 NBA season after scoring just 88 points in a loss to the Boston Celtics. Although the Warriors were hoping to get back on the right track, the Philadelphia 76ers came out firing on all cylinders by putting up 47 points in the first quarter of tonight's rematch.

However, Golden State bounced back going on a historic run of their own to open up the second half. The Warriors outscored the 76ers by 32, the biggest point differential in a single quarter since the Atlanta Hawks did it versus the Charlotte Hornets back in 1994, according to Pro Basketball Reference.

Philadelphia could not do any wrong in the first quarter and eventually found themselves up at halftime 74-52 over Golden State. The 76ers were led by the strong efforts of budding superstar Joel Embiid and shooting guard J.J. Reddick who finished the first half with 30 combined points.

The Warriors then came out of the locker room and put up 47 points of their own in the third quarter, only this time they allowed the 76ers to respond with just 15 points. The Warriors then went on to win, 124-116.
