San Francisco, CA – Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry continued his onslaught on the NBA from downtown. He cashed in on 11 3-pointers on his way to scoring an easy 49 points. These video game-like numbers were done in just 29 minutes of play and sitting out the entire fourth period as the Dubs routed the Oklahoma City Thunder 136-97.

No other player in NBA history has more 10+ 3-pointer games than Curry. But fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson holds the NBA record (14) for most 3-pointers made in a single game – a record Curry would like to take from Thompson.

“I thought about it towards the end of the third quarter, obviously looked at the score, and knew I wasn't probably playing in the fourth. So, I have to try again,” the Warriors star told ClutchPoints.

On Saturday night, the entire building knew Curry was in perfect position to set a new record. Stopping Curry from setting the new NBA record was the only thing the Thunder did well defensively in this game, as they didn't make it competitive enough to keep him on the court.

Despite that, the Warriors still set a new team franchise record, making 27 threes in the blowout victory. Every player who attempted a shot from beyond the arc made at least one three.

Next game, the Warriors will face a credible opponent in the Utah Jazz. It will be a crucial test for Stephen Curry and his crew as they face a championship contender. Will the defensive-minded Jazz slow down the hot play from Curry or will Curry keep this fantastic play going?
