It looks like we will be getting a Curry family showdown at All-Star Weekend next month.

We already knew that Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry would be participating in the 3-Point Contest. Now, his brother Stephen will be joining him.

Steph announced the decision to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on the Woj Pod on Friday night:

“Just being in Charlotte, there's a nice storyline,” said Stephen, who grew up in Charlotte. “[Seth] was leading the league in percentage for a while. In terms of family history, my dad playing 10 years in Charlotte; being one of the original Hornets to now having the All-Star Game in Charlotte. “The 3-point shootout will be fun with the Curry brothers. I know he's going to be gunning for me, though. That's the problem.”

Indeed.

While Steph is considered by many to be the greatest shooter of all-time and won the shootout in 2015, his little brother has actually been besting him in percentage this season, as Seth is making 48 percent of his three-pointers as opposed to 44.4 percent for Steph.

Of course, Seth is doing it on very low volume, as he is attempting just 2.8 triples over 17.4 minutes per game on the year, but hey; 48 percent is 48 percent.

Seth is a lifetime 44.3 percent long-range shooter since coming into the league during the 2013-14 campaign. Before arriving with the Blazers, he spent time with the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks.

He actually did not play a single game in the NBA last season.
