Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has shown his full support to his teammate Andrew Wiggins, who just confirmed his commitment to the Canada National Basketball Team.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Wiggins shared a photo of him in Team Canada gear. His caption seems to suggest he is playing for the national squad as they aim to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics this summer.

Curry, and Wiggins' other teammates for the matter, saw the announcement and made sure to let the swingman know that they'll be watching him.

Hopefully, this update from Andrew Wiggins will encourage Stephen Curry to join Team USA as well. After the Warriors' season ended in a shocking play-in upset, the sharpshooter revealed that he is still uncertain if he would play for the national team.

For what it's worth, though, Canada has not yet qualified for the Summer Olympics. With that said, even if Curry decides to suit up for Team USA, it's uncertain if he would get to face his Warriors teammate.

Team Canada still has some qualifying games left that will start from June 29 and last until July 4, according to a report by Sports Net.

With the Warriors out of the postseason, the Olympics is the fans' only hope to see Curry and Wiggins back in action before the 2021-22 NBA season. Of course, several supporters would want them to be as healthy as possible heading into the next campaign and avoid any injuries, but there's no doubt a lot will also want to watch the stars represent their own countries in one of the biggest stages in basketball
