Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry admits that Kevin Durant's first year with the team was “difficult” at times for him.

Stephen Curry was used to taking as many shots as he wanted before Kevin Durant arrived in 2016, so it took the two-time league MVP some time to get used to playing with another star player who shot the ball a lot as well.

“To be honest, that first year playing together, it was me,” Curry told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. “Just how I was used to getting shots, how I was used to playing, what not, it was a little different. So I had to make certain adjustments and there were times where it was difficult.”

It's safe to say Curry and Durant figured things out. The Warriors have won two-straight championships since Durant signed with the Dubs in the summer of 2016 and, barring something unforeseen happening, Golden State will likely win its third straight ring this season.

Curry averaged 25.3 and 26.4 points per game during his first two seasons with Durant as his teammate. KD, meanwhile, put up 25.1 and 26.4 points in his first two seasons with Golden State. The two stars have co-existed very well and are unstoppable to guard when they are firing on all cylinders.
