Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry made his first comments about new small forward Andrew Wiggins on Saturday after practice.

Curry says the former No. 1 overall pick is a “walking 20 points.”

Wiggins is averaging 22.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists with the Warriors in 31.9 minutes per game. He’s shooting an efficient 57.9 percent from the field, 52.6 percent from beyond the arc and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Wiggins hasn’t lived up to being the No. 1 overall pick of his draft class despite his jaw-dropping athleticism and the fact that his points per game average is above 20. The new Warriors swingman will have three All-Star teammates next season once Curry and Klay Thompson suit up alongside Draymond Green, which should help his game moving forward.

Curry and Wiggins could still play together this season, too. Curry is reportedly targeting an early March return to the lineup. The Warriors would love to see Curry, Wiggins and Green develop some chemistry this season heading into the summer.

The Warriors are 12-44 on the season. They have lost five straight.
