Back in January 23, 2015, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson did the unthinkable. The All-Star shooting guard dropped 37 points in a single quarter, which unsurprisingly took the entire basketball world by storm. On Saturday, Dubs teammates Stephen Curry and Draymond Green shouted out Thompson on the sixth anniversary of what remains to be one of the greatest single-quarter performances of all time.

Curry and Green took to their respective Instagram Stories to commemorate the momentous occasion (h/t Alex Didion on Twitter):

Thompson himself responded to Curry's post, expressing his desire to rejoin his teammates on the basketball court as soon as he possibly can. That's not going to be anytime soon, though, with Klay still recovering from a pre-season Achilles injury that put an end to his 2020-21 campaign. The five-time All-Star is expected to make a full recovery and could be available for the Warriors to start the 2021-22 season.

Golden State is in action on Saturday as they take on the Utah Jazz in the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Utah. The Warriors are coming off a disappointing loss to the New York Knicks on Thursday and will be looking to return to winning ways against a formidable Jazz side.

Without his backcourt buddy in the picture, Curry has pretty much been doing it all for the Dubs this season. The former back-to-back MVP is currently putting up averages of 28.2 points (on 45.1 percent shooting), 5.5 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.3 steals, while also connecting on 4.1 triples per game on a 37.1-percent clip.
