The Golden State Warriors literally had their season on the line on Friday when they took on the Memphis Grizzlies to determine the eighth and final seed in the West. Stephen Curry knew what was at stake so he unsurprisingly stepped up for his team in the clutch.

In a crucial juncture early in the fourth and final period, Curry came up with this insane and-1 play all over Grizzlies defender Dillon Brooks (h/t Warriors on Twitter):

The degree of difficulty on this shot is something else. Steph absorbed the contact, spun almost 360 degrees, then made the tough shot. He did all that in mid-air. Curry is the greatest shooter of all time but plays like these remind us of how underrated his finishing ability truly is.

Curry was feeling himself early on in this one. Even before the game, he came up with an equally epic circus shot during the layup line. How he made that shot is simply beyond comprehension.

The Warriors have a lot riding on this game, with the fate of their season on the line. A loss here against the Grizzlies will send them home without even tasting playoff action for the second year running.
