Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curryon the podcast Winging It featuring hosts Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore, admitted that he does not think human beings ever landed on the moon. Andre Iguodala was also a guest on the show.

Via Pro Basketball Talk:

Curry: “We ever been to the moon?

Multiple responders: “Nope.”

Curry: “They’re gonna come get us. I don’t think so, either.”

Atlanta Hawks digital content coordinator and podcast co-host Annie Finberg once again asked Curry if he truly believes this. He reaffirmed that he does.

Three nights prior, Curry had scored 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting in a close victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. He had been inactive for 11 games in November due to a groin injury. He has only been back for four of the Warriors' games.

One of Stephen Curry’s biggest rivals, Kyrie Irving, came out in a guest appearance on a Forbes 30 Under 30 summit in 2017 that he was indeed a flat Earth believer. He later apologized and admitted he was wrong to spread misinformation and conspiracy in the first place. But before that, Irving continued to state outside of his appearance that he truly believed that the Earth is, in fact, flat.

Conspiracy theories and beliefs aren’t uncommon among athletes, for whatever reason. It was surprising to hear Stephen Curry put this out there, knowing the kind of ridicule that would come with it, but he at least seemed self-aware enough to know that there will be criticism.
