In challenging times like these, it's difficult to find the right words to try and make sense of all the injustice going on around the country and the world. This is exactly what Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry felt after he learned about the horrific terrorist act that happened in Atlanta, Georgia last Tuesday where a white man shot and killed eight people in three different shootings. Six of the victims have been identified to be of Asian descent which only suggests that the terrorist act was a hate crime.

Curry, who's always been sensitive and responsible in these crises, didn't immediately go on social media to denounce the killings. Not because he didn't feel strong enough to put out a statement but because, just like most of us, he felt that he didn't have the right words to utter.

But, as soon as his head coach Steve Kerr perfectly summed up his thoughts, the two-time All-Star was quick to echo his mentor's statement as he shared Kerr's apt response to the tragedy. The 55-year-old head coach mentioned in a series of tweets how ignorant and racist remarks linking Asian-Americans to COVID-19 may have had a huge part on why the hate crime was committed. This, according to Curry, spoke loud.

Retweeting his head coach's sentiments, Stephen Curry shared his own take on everything going on.

“Honestly have been trying to find words to do this situation in our country justice,” Curry said. “But this, speaks loud. Be aware, do your part. Get educated.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims. End racism now.
