Kendrick Perkins was picked up by the Cleveland Cavaliers right before the playoffs started. His main mission is to provide a veteran voice. But from time to time, he also lends support for the Cavs through some good old trash talking.

As seen in the clip below, right at the end of the third quarter, Stephen Curry apparently stepped on Perkins' foot. Though it was accidental, Perkins was not letting Curry get a free pass. The big man got up said a few words to Curry. It's hard to decipher what they were saying to each other. We can just assume that none of those words were nice.

As observed, Curry walked away, apparently feeling that Perkins' antics were unnecessary. Yet this is why the Cavaliers got him. He's not exactly known for his basketball skills. He's infamous for his toughness on the court and his ability to get in the mind of his foes.

Chris Haynes of ESPN tweeted about the incident:

It was met by replies from fans, saying that Curry is just “fake tough.” Others asked why was Curry talking to the Cavaliers' cheerleaders. Others hit on Perkins, saying that he won't be able to do anything but cheer the Cavaliers on.

Be as it may, the little scuffle between the two emphasizes what's at stake in the NBA Finals. They are not just fighting for hardware, they are battling for pride.
