The Golden State Warriors are hitting the reset button this season. Stephen Curry has missed a bulk of 2019-20 with a broken hand, Klay Thompson is out for the rest of the year as he recovers from his torn ACL, and Draymond Green has been on cruise control all season long amid the injuries the team has suffered.

Put simply, the NBA world knows the Warriors are priming themselves for the 2020-21 NBA season.

However, Curry wants to make a splash on the NBA season before their next dance, which left many wondering whether or not the Warriors' lottery chances will be damaged once Curry returns.

The sharpshooting guard, however, has one simple message to those thinking that.

Truth be told, whether or not Curry plays, the Warriors will be gifted a high draft pick. Whichever way the wind blows, the high draft pick will be house money for the Dubs.

The return of Thompson and Curry, plus the addition of Andrew Wiggins, will be enough to anticipate their rise to relevance again.

In the end, Curry's love for the game can't be frowned upon. While some other NBA players will state they are enjoying this season without the Splash Bros, they will also tell you the NBA hasn't been the same without them. The Warriors' system can be a beauty to watch — arguably the 2010s version of the 80s Lakers.

So if Stephen Curry comes back March 1, fans should embrace the man that shifted basketball on its axis. Because once next season starts, this may be the last time we see the Warriors outside of the playoffs for the foreseeable future.
