It's clear that no team is immune from the latest COVID-19 transmissions in the NBA. Even the league-leading Golden State Warriors have been hit with starters Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole being among the latest additions to the ever-expanding list of guys under health and safety protocols.

Still, even without their two key players, the Warriors fashioned a 113-98 win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday night, as both Stephen Curry and Draymond Green returned after taking a one-game rest against the Toronto Raptors in their previous assignment.

With the NBA dealing with the tough situation anew, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said the team's vice president of player health and performance Rick Celebrini met with the squad before facing the Kings to remind everyone that the virus still looms (via ESPN).

“It's nerve-racking for everybody. Rick Celebrini just addressed the guys in our walkthrough about the importance of just being as smart as possible and wearing masks as often as we can and doing all the things that are recommended. It's tough to be back in this state, but tough for everybody all over the world.”

Possibly due to the Omicron variant, more and more players have been placed under COVID-19 protocols. The NBA has already postponed a slew of games in recent days to avoid further complications.

In the meantime, the Warriors will try to maintain their dominance as they improved to 25-6.
