Skip Bayless has always been known for his hot takes. He usually has his critical eye fixed on LeBron James, but this time around, he took aim at Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.

Bayless had a bit of slander reserved for Steph, as he listed a handful of other NBA legends above Curry on his personal all-time greats list (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

Bayless started off his better-than-Steph list with the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon, Oscar Robertson, Julius Erving, David Robinson, and Karl Malone. Skip's co-host, Shannon Sharpe, was clearly in disagreement with Bayless' list, but what took the cake for Sharpe was when his co-anchor uttered the name of Bill Walton.

Before anything else, we need to put some respect into Walton's name. The man is a legend. There's no denying that Walton belongs right up there with some of the all-time greats who ever played the sport.

However, for Skip Bayless to say that Bill Walton is a better player than Stephen Curry is a bit sacrilegious. The Warriors superstar is widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all time and he literally changed the game through his unique style of play. Curry may not be the GOAT, but he certainly deserves much more credit than Bayless is giving him here.

Whenever Skip says things like this, it's hard not to think that he's merely playing the role of the antagonist. He comes up with some of the most ridiculous analyses that sometimes, it feels like he's doing it on purpose. It makes for some good television though, so I guess that's the point in all this?
