Stephen Curry just entered another exclusive club on Monday after the Golden State Warriors superstar put on a show at the Chase Center. Curry exploded for 53 points and propelled the Warriors to a huge 116-107 over the Denver Nuggets.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Curry is now part of an incredible list of bucket-getters who have managed to tally three or more 50-plus point games since the 1976 ABA-NBA merger. He joined Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and James Harden as the fourth member of the sublime clique.

Curry's 53-point outburst on Monday was the ninth time the 33-year-old has achieved such a scoring feat. According to the ESPN broadcast, he is also the only player in NBA history aged 32 and older to have three 50-point games in a single season. Absolutely incredible.

Curry knocked down 10 three-pointers and was 14-of-15 from the free throw line to lead the Warriors to back-to-back wins. Safe to say that he was a headache all evening for Nikola Jokic and company.

The two-time MVP also picked the perfect evening to put on a shooting clinic. Curry was poised to surpass Warriors great Wilt Chamberlain as the franchise's all-time scoring leader and it only took the former Davidson hotshot just 11 minutes to get to the 19 points he needed to pull ahead of The Big Dipper.

At this point, we don't need further proof that Stephen Curry is one of the most lethal scorers in NBA history but it seems that the seven-time All-Star is far from being done.
