The NBA is missing injured Golden State Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, and it appears the feeling is mutual.

Curry is still recovering from a broken hand he suffered earlier in the season, while Thompson is still making his way back from a torn ACL he sustained during the 2019 NBA Finals.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr gave an update on his two all-time snipers and admitted that both have grown restless with sitting out on the sidelines, per Connor Letourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle.

Being on the shelf can definitely take its toll on players, especially with highly competitive guys like Thompson and Curry.

Players also don't want to take their playing years for granted, and wasting away a season on the sidelines isn't exactly in their best interests. Nevertheless, this should be all part of the plan for the Warriors to return to glory once the two are healthy and ready to play at a high level once again.

Footage of Thompson going on shootarounds and putting up shots has made the rounds on social media. Looking at the said video, it definitely seems like the Thompson is ready to go.

However, the rehab process obviously is a lot more than that. Moreover, getting into game shape will be another hurdle Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will have to go through.

Nevertheless, both players should be in no hurry to make their respective returns on the court, especially with the Warriors way out of the race for a playoff spot.

Moreover, after going through five straight NBA Finals (and winning three titles in the process), it might be best for the greatest shooting backcourt of all time to take this season off and rest no matter how restless they feel about missing so many games.
