Is Draymond Green the most hated man in Boston right now? If you polled Celtics fans, it would be surprising for him not to be the top answer as their team leads the Golden State Warriors 2-1 in the NBA Finals.

In the first game of the series in Boston, they showed exactly that with a chorus of jeers and chants against the Warriors star throughout Game 3. From the classic boos during the starting lineup intros to some not-so-subtle chants as the game went on:

Steve Kerr didn't have many words for what went down. The Warriors head coach gave a short, sarcastic description for all the vitriol hurled at Draymond Green, via ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly:

“Classy. Very classy,” said Kerr.

Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were asked if the animosity against Draymond Green affected them in any way. The Warriors backcourt are no strangers to dealing with this kind of environment from visiting crowds:

“Par for the course,” said Steph Curry after the Warriors loss. “Every arena, you kinda get a little something. It's been like that the whole playoff and every run we've made over the course of the last few years. He expects it. No difference tonight.”

“It was not a factor,” asserted Klay Thompson. “We've played in front of rude crowds before. Dropping F-bombs in front of kids. Real classy. Good job, Boston.”

While the obscenities could probably be toned down given that there were indeed children in attendance, the Warriors won't attribute anything more to the crowd. Stephen Curry and co. were simply outplayed in Game 3 and must regroup, fully expecting the Celtics faithful to be right back on them for Game 4.
