The Golden State Warriors took care of business in Game 1 by defeating the New Orleans Pelicans 123-101 on Saturday night. The Pelicans' likely only chance to steal a game without Stephen Curry turned out to be a disaster for them, and now it looks like they'll have to prepare for his return.

According to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, Stephen Curry is listed as probable for Game 2 and will likely return. He adds that Curry will not be on a minutes restriction, meaning that he's likely be working up his rehab and workouts in recent practices so that he's 100 percent ready for a return.

Curry finished the season playing just 51 games, the second lowest total of his career, after dealing with a number of ankle injuries to go along with this Grade 2 MCL sprain. In fact, he returned from a 14-day, six-game absence due to an ankle sprain in March only to suffer the knee injury in his first game back.

After struggling to win without two-time MVP in the regular season, the Warriors have been able to take care of business in the postseason, going 4-1 against the San Antonio Spurs and winning Game 1 against the Pelicans handily.

Curry averaged 26.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.6 steals, and 4.2 three-pointers per game this season on 49.5 percent shooting from the field and 42.3 percent from beyond the arc.
