The Golden State Warriors are expected to re-evaluate point guard Stephen Curry in two weeks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. This timeline could set his return date to prior to Christmas, barring any setbacks.

Curry is in line to miss the next five games with this timeline in place, making him able to return on Dec. 20 against the Memphis Grizzlies if his recovery goes as expected.

He suffered an injury to his surgically-repaired right ankle in the closing minute of regulation during a 125-115 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, going for a steal and tripping on E'Twaun Moore's foot, rolling his ankle and remaining out for the last 57 seconds of the game.

G League standout Quinn Cook is likely to be called up to play during this stretch, giving Shaun Livingston the keys to the starting point guard position, returning from a suspension — as well as putting Patrick McCaw in line for backup minutes at the position after a successful start a few games ago.

Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson will now have the lion's share of the shots in this Warriors offense, as they await for their floor general's return later in December.

Curry was seen wearing a boot and in crutches upon leaving the arena last night, with plenty of swelling reported after the Warriors' fourth straight win of this six-game road trip.
