Stephen Curry is one of only a small number of all-time greats that have bagged the NBA Most Valuable Player award two seasons in a row. He achieved this historic feat by winning back-to-back MVP titles in 2015 and 2016. Right now, it's looking like the Golden State Warriors superstar is en route to winning his third career MVP.

Curry came out with yet another jaw-dropping performance on Tuesday as he dropped a 50-piece on Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks. Steph drained no less than nine triples on the evening as he led the Dubs to a 127-113 victory over Atlanta. In the process, the Warriors point guard just significantly improved his chances of winning the coveted MVP title.

As of Tuesday, Curry has just leaped to the top of the MVP odds list on SportsBetting.ag. As of writing, the Dubs All-Star is now the frontrunner to take home the MVP trophy at the end of the season with +200 odds. Milwaukee Bucks two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is tied with Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets for the second spot, with both players currently at +650 odds. Luka Doncic (+800) and Donovan Mitchell (+1400) round out the top five.

Curry has been nothing short of amazing this season, averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.6 steals, while also connecting on 5.2 triples per game on a 38.8-percent clip. The seven-time All-Star has led the Warriors to a 9-1 record, which is currently the best in the NBA.

Oh, and in case you forgot, Klay Thompson is on his way back. At this point, there is no doubt that the Warriors are legit.
