Stephen Curry's memorable season continues. The Golden State Warriors superstar kept his foot on the gas in his incredible 2020-2021 run as he rewrote NBA history by putting up astounding numbers this month only a guy like him could put up.

Curry's meteoric April ended with him averaging 35 points per game on 50% shooting from the field and 45% shooting from deep. Can you guess the last player to record such a feat? Yup, it was the two-time MVP himself in February 2016 (via NBA Stats).

The seven-time All-Star has been on full-MVP mode for the past few weeks. Curry has been the King of April, shooting himself all the way to the top of the MVP conversation with his immaculate shooting. The Warriors leader has almost singlehandedly brought Dub Nation back to postseason contention with one 30-point explosion after another.

Unfortunately, his latest 37-point performance on Thursday came at a loss as the Warriors fell short against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Curry knocked down six three-pointers and was a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe. Still, they couldn't do enough as they lost an important game against one of the worst teams in the NBA.

That being said, no one can take away Curry's historic month of April. The Warriors, who dropped to 31-32 for 10th place in the Western Conference, are hoping that his form continues as they try to advance to the NBA Playoff through the play-in tournament.

With nine games to go, Stephen Curry has no other choice but to make the month of May even more memorable.
