Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is slated to start participating in portions of practice starting tomorrow, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes. He's set to be re-evaluated once again in a week.

The Western Conference Semifinals could start as early as Apr. 28, which would allow for this re-evaluation to come a day prior — right on the pre-announced timeline of return.

Curry has been making steady progress in his recovery from a Grade 2 MCL sprain, which he suffered against the Atlanta Hawks, forcing him to miss the last 10 games of the regular season and the current postseason.

These “modified” practices will allow for Curry to ramp up activity according to his progress with the injury, decreasing the chances of any setback taking place in a non-game situation.

Curry has been traveling with the team and was seen doing some light exercises with resistant bands prior to Game 3 of the Warriors' first-round series against the San Antonio Spurs. The medical staff has been utterly careful with his recovery and his conditioning, ensuring to slowly adjust the pace of it as the injury heals.

If it all comes together as expected, Curry could rejoin his teammates by the start of the second round, also allowing for ankle injuries to Kevin Durant and Shaun Livingston to get proper rest if they manage to close out the series on Sunday against San Antonio.
