Stephen Curry decided to spend his Friday evening not in Charlotte for the All-Star festivities. Instead, he went to watch the Davidson Wildcats take on the St. Joseph's Hawks. During the game, some students from the university dressed in nothing but speedo-like underwear took a photo with the former Davidson hotshot.

Curry and the Warriors this season have gone through some ups and downs, but overall they have proven themselves to be the same elite team. Early on in the season, they started out extremely slow.

Both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have had the worst shooting seasons of their respective careers. Green has also declined athletically. This, along with their lack of depth, held them back at first. But since then, everything has come full circle. Everything is clicking.

For the first couple of months, all the pressure went on Curry and Kevin Durant to carry the team. It worked, but not every single game. It took until mid-January for them to finally surpass the Denver Nuggets for the first seed in the West.

But when DeMarcus Cousins returned from injury, everything changed. His presence in the paint and at the rim is some of the best in the league. Steve Kerr now has multiple options to stagger his stars in his rotations. It also puts less pressure on Curry and Durant to lead the team.

The Warriors are now 41-16 on the season and currently sit 1st in the NBA's Western Conference. They will face off next against the Sacramento Kings at home.
