The career of Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry is far from over, but he already has grand plans once he finally hangs his jersey and sneakers for good. Like most athletes, Curry wants to write a book about his illustrious basketball career.

Curry was interviewed via e-mail by Book World writer and editor Nora Krug. They talked about his basketball-related ventures, as well as he and his family's reading habits. Krug asked if Curry has read some of the several books about him, and in response, the Warriors sharpshooter spilled his big plan to write his own book after his basketball career is done.

“I’ve seen all the books that were written about me, which is kind of surreal. The only one that I’ve read (most of) is “Golden,” by Marcus Thompson, a beat writer who is pretty close to my career. It’s a pretty weird experience reading about yourself from somebody that did their homework. Eventually, I’ll write one about myself and talk about all the craziness of the on- and off-court successes, failures, all the above, but not anytime soon,” Stephen Curry said, via the Washington Post.

This is definitely good news for Curry fans. The Warriors star's life has been somewhat an open book since he entered the limelight. However, a book–to be written by himself using his own voice and words–will definitely give a different perspective and open the eyes of basketball fans on what it was like to be the greatest shooter in the world.

For now though, Curry is certainly focused on returning to the court and getting the Warriors back to the playoffs and, hopefully, to the NBA Finals.
