Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are off to an NBA-best 18-2 start and already have many believing they could seriously make a run at the title this season. However, it's been quite the journey of ups and downs for this team over the last two years and especially, one of their longest-tenured players in Curry.

The Warriors superstar recently sat down with Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports and revealed the lowest point he faced with the Dubs since their last playoff appearance in 2019 when they lost to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals:

“Watching the bubble was the lowest point of those two years,” Curry told Yahoo Sports. “There was a part of me that felt it was nice to get refreshed, and a part of me really missed playing on that stage. That was the first time in seven years of not being in the playoffs with the Warriors. We know each player had their own experiences in the bubble, but I would have loved to have been there competing. I would say that was the lowest point in terms of my basketball experience because I felt so far away from it. This is what I love to do.”

That's certainly not surprising. After years of being a regular in the postseason, Curry and the Warriors had to watch from afar in 2020 as the Los Angeles Lakers won it all in the Orlando Bubble.

Between Kevin Durant leaving for the Brooklyn Nets and Klay Thompson suffering two serious injuries, it's been a tough spell for the Warriors but most all, Steph. Nevertheless, they've come back with a vengeance in 2021/22 and are on the brink of getting Thompson back in the mix as well.

The past may have brought disappointment, but Golden State looks poised to return to greatness, with Curry leading the way.
