Stephen Curry put the Dallas Mavericks to bed. The Golden State Warriors star closed out Game 2 with a dagger right past Luka Doncic.

Check out the Warriors point guard add insult to injury against the Mavs:

After trailing the Mavs by as much as 19 points, Stephen Curry and the Warriors stormed back in a huge way to regain the lead early in the fourth quarter.

Golden State outscored Dallas by double digits in each of the final two frames, flipping the script on their visitors 68-45 in that second half.

The Mavs got 42 points from Luka Doncic and 31 from Jalen Brunson and also connected on 21 three-pointers on the night, but it still wasn't enough to keep the Warriors at bay to even the series.

It was the perfect team win for Golden State. Stephen Curry was his usual incendiary self with 32 points and six threes. Klay Thompson had his moments, including some airborne slams to erase any doubts about his athleticism being sapped by injury. Jordan Poole came off the bench for 23 points and five assists.

And the biggest contribution of all came from Kevon Looney, who played like an All-Star center with 21 points and 12 rebounds and even securing a franchise high mark that hasn't been seen in nearly half a century.

The series is far from over right now, but the Warriors are firmly in the driver's seat.
