Andrew Bogut and the Golden State Warriors are reunited. The team couldn't be happier with the return of its former center, especially Stephen Curry.

Without DeMarcus Cousins starting at center, the Warriors found it hard to overcome the feisty San Antonio Spurs, ultimately losing a pivotal road game on Monday night, 111-105. In place of the injured Cousins was Bogut, who made his return to the NBA after a one-year absence.

The seven-foot Australian is coming off a stellar performance in Australia's NBL, winning the league's coveted MVP and Defensive Player of the Year honors before signing with the Warriors last week.

Although Bogut finished Monday's contest with seven points and seven rebounds in 19 minutes of action, Curry was more than thrilled having his fellow teammate back by his side.

Anthony Slater of The Athletic shared a tweet of Curry's postgame interview, in which the Warriors' superstar shared how he felt about Bogut's 2019 debut:

Stephen Curry also commended Bogut for his awareness in one particular instance when the two connected on a scoring play, calling their chemistry “second nature” after the two won an NBA title together three years ago.

Cousins' status heading into Tuesday night's game in Minnesota is still up in the air, which means the 34-year-old Bogut will have another shot at the starting center job against the Timberwolves.

Considering that the Warriors are traveling from San Antonio to Minneapolis as part of a back-to-back, a relatively fresh Bogut will help the team's rotation a lot following a grueling battle in Texas the day before.
