Stephen Curry had another stellar performance for the Golden State Warriors in Tuesday night's contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The two-time MVP was feeling it so much that he even broke out with his trademark shimmy dance after draining a crucial bucket at one point during the match.

After the game, reporters asked Curry as for what exactly warrants the shimmy-shake from the superstar point guard. Here's a clip of Curry's post-game interview, courtesy of Mark Medina from The Mercury News.

“There's no criteria… Sometimes I immediately regret it after I do it, but it happens from time to time. Just me having fun… It's just a part of my demeanor; just bringing joy and the joy in what we do.”

While opposing teams might take offense whenever Curry does his shimmy, the 31-year-old made it clear that he only breaks out that move in the spur of the moment. He also admits regret in doing it on certain occasions, further proving that he means no ill will towards his opponents.

One reason why Curry is beloved by many NBA fans is his laid back and happy-go-lucky attitude. The shoulder shimmies that he tends to break out after making a pivotal shot made him all the more endearing to his fans and equally detestable to his detractors.

On Tuesday night, Curry inadvertently made Minnesota his next victim of the shimmy dance punctuated by his 36-point explosion en route to the Warriors' 117-107 road victory.

That shoulder shimmy acted as a metaphor of sorts for the struggles Minnesota, who has now lost four straight games. It's as if Steph told the Wolves to heel themselves and forget about contending for this year's playoffs altogether.
