There was a lot of emotion going around the building on Tuesday night as Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry set a new record for all-time three-pointers made. One that stood out the most, however, was the moment Steph shared with his father, Dell Curry, right after he hit his 2,974th career triple.

Around halfway through the first quarter, Curry did the inevitable. He was understandably hyped about his historic milestone and he celebrated with his teammates shortly after. Once he got hold of the ball, however, Steph walked all the way to the opposite side of the court to hug his father (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter):

I don't know about you, but personally, this was the best moment of the night for me. The hug between Steph and Dell lasted for only a few seconds but it just felt like this was a culminating moment of all the hard work and sacrifice both men put in in order for the Warriors star to get to where he is right now.

Dell Curry is himself one of the most renowned shooters in league history, but there's absolutely no doubt that he would much rather see his son surpass everything that he's done throughout his career. On Tuesday night, Stephen Curry did just that by further establishing his claim as the greatest shooter of all time.
