Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is arguably the best shooter in the history of the NBA, but it seems that he’s not content in showing off his incredible accuracy with the ball on the basketball court.

The sharpshooting court general is also taking his talents to golf courses this summer, as he tries to polish on his club skills, which will come in handy once he hangs up his sneakers and walks away from the NBA many years down the road.

During the first round of the 2018 Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player impressed observers by shooting a 1-over 71.

While it’s good only for a tie in the 115th spot in the leaderboard, it was three strokes better than the 74 he shot a year ago in the same round of this same tournament. In the 2017 edition of the Ellie Mae Classic, Curry shot 74 in both the first and second round to miss the cut.

Curry first competed in the tournament in 2017, when he accepted an invite via sponsor exemption. Even if Curry misses the cut again, these scores are very impressive for a guy who plays basketball for a living.
