Over the past years, soccer club Chelsea FC has been known to be a popular destination for big name players, which makes it possible for them to always have a star-studded lineup, and continue to be perennial title contenders in the English Premiere League. However, another superstar from a different sport visited them recently, which added to the list of professional athletes who have dropped by Stamford Bridge.
Golden State Warriors guard and former back-to-back MVP Stephen Curry was in England over the weekend, where he had a first-hand experience to watch a league game live, and also showed off that he has the skills to score a penalty kick goal after the match.

Curry is the first NBA player to visit the famous arena in a long time, and is also interesting to find out his reason for showing up there. He may not be the first one from the NBA to express interest in the sport, but with Chelsea’s popularity and stature, there may be a possibility that a business partnership in the future could be in the offing for both parties.
Soccer is easily the most popular sport in England, and for most countries in Europe. That said, Curry made a good account of himself with his penalty kick, as not only did he score, he also proved that he is also skilled outside the basketball court.
