San Francisco, CA – After trailing for most of the game, the Golden State Warriors rallied back and won Game 2 after trailing by 19 against the Dallas Mavericks. Unlike the first matchup, Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson had it going. They combined for a total of 73 points Friday night, but it wasn't enough to hold off Steve Kerr’s Warriors.

At the start of the fourth quarter, that big lead was trimmed to single digits. That's when Kevon Looney, Otto Porter Jr, and Jordan Poole took the lead and gained control of the game. Then a little later than usual, Stephen Curry enter the game in the final period and added the final touches to an impressive comeback victory.

“Steph kind of smelt blood in those last five minutes…Steph did what Steph does. Something like that,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr told ClutchPoints with a laugh.

The two-time MVP scored a team-high 32 points, and 20 of those points came in the first half of the game. But scoring wasn't the only thing he did for the Dubs. Curry pulled down 8 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.

As great as Curry was in this game, the role players starred in the win. Looney’s career-high 21 points and 12 rebounds made him the star of the game. The fans even showered the big man with MVP chants as he shot his only free throw of the game.

The plan going into the game wasn't to play from behind all night, but the Warriors did still manage to get the victory, and that's all that matters. Now they have a 2-0 lead, and all of the pressure is on the Mavs.
