San Francisco, CA – The Golden State Warriors got their two-time MVP back in the lineup. Stephen Curry, after being out five games with a tailbone injury, made it feel like he never left. Curry finished the game with 32 points on 50% shooting from both the field and beyond the arc. But even the casual observer could still notice him hobbling in pain on the court, especially after awkward falls. Curry spoke on playing in Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls.

“I knew that it was going to be interesting how you can’t really simulate that in practice and workouts. It wasn’t fun, but I got through it. I was able to keep warm and deal with the pain and just play. It is something to manage in the near future, but it will continue to heal as I get some more time,” Curry told ClutchPoints.

A tailbone injury can be an excruciating and annoying type of discomfort. When you think you're good to go, it will quickly remind you that you're not ready. A fearless Curry made plays throughout the game on both ends of the floor.

“The charge that I took was a good play, and I tried to brace myself,” Curry said. “That is the one that you don’t want to second guess, moves, or decisions on either end of the floor because you are trying to avoid pain. If you are going to play, you just have to play and just have to deal with it afterward. That was my mindset coming back,” Curry explained.

After a whole team effort that secured a 116-102 victory over the Bulls, the (23-24) Warriors will travel to Miami to face the Heat on Thursday, April 1st. Stephen Curry isn't pain-free by any means, but he'll be on the court as long as he can muster.
